The QUEERZ! Kickstarter campaign is entering its final hours!
We've added several supercharged Stretch Goals for the final 48 hours so that the finale will be that much sweeter, with boxes packed with great content! What's more, our charity copy count for after the campaign is already valued at ~$4500 -- let's get this number even higher!!

We are entering the final of stages of writing for The Sunken City, which is written by Eran Aviram, our lead editor, who had also created the glitzy and heist-plagued district of Fortune Row.
Here are a few things we can already tell you about this new district, inspired by the legend of Atlantis, tales of monsters of the deep, and pulpy turn-of-the-century stories of daring explorers:
The Sunken City will be a literal mythical playground for Mythoi to explore the true limits of their powers -- but does the apparent total freedom from Mist come with disastrous repercussions?
The Sunken City is ruled by The Elders, a group of seemingly immortal and invincible individuals who govern from atop their Tower of Judgment. They are opposed by a few different factions with contradicting agendas, who envision a very different future for their hidden paradise under the waves.
Some of the legends you might stumble upon in the Sunken City include: Tammuz, Dažbog, Maui, the Loch Ness monster, and Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man.

Companion map for Nights of Payne Town released
Earlier today we sent all backers a copy of the companion map for Nights of Payne Town. This is a digital only version of the Crime Board City Map that contains all locations from the Nights of Payne Town story arc, as well as places of importance from the core books, the different City districts (such as La Colonia de Sombras and Independence), and from the expansion book Shadows & Showdowns (prev. the Campaign Book).
This allows MCs to share the physical version of the map with their players without exposing any secrets or plot details about the story arc, or other locations in the City that they might want to remain secret until the time comes to reveal them. We encourage MCs to make use of the three types of general markers that came with the Crime Board City Map to mark down Crime Scenes (blue), Locations (yellow), and Suspects (red).
Next "Hacking CoM" Stream coming up
The next livestream for our How to Hack City of Mist? series is coming up this Sunday, October 17th at 1pm EST.
Titled Hacking the Mist #2: Core Moves, the stream will focus on hacking Core Moves for different settings. As always it will be streamed on both the City of Mist YouTube channel and on our Facebook page simultaneously -- everyone is very welcome to join us!

EXPANSIONSFULFILLMENT STARTED IN THEUS, BOOKSEN-ROUTE TO CANADA
Good news about fulfillment in the US! Our stock arrived at the warehouse earlier than planned, which means that we’ve avoided most of the congestion. Packages of all remaining rewards have started shipping last week and will continue to ship this week and into the next. All Canadian stock has already been rerouted and is making its way to our fulfillment partners in Canada. Shipping should commence there within a couple of weeks.

It's been a quiet summer but we've got a lot to share, so let's start!
FULFILLMENT UPDATE
The expansion books have finished shipping in Australia and the EU, and are currently shipping in the UK. The ship to the US was very delayed and the books should arrive in the warehouse and start shipping early in September. However, due to warehouse congestion and the late shipment, shipping may be delayed an additional two weeks to late September - we will keep you posted. The Canada shipping will begin two weeks after the US, as the books have another small journey to make from the US to Canada.
Once shipping is complete, this Kickstarter will be concluded! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce our new super-sentai LGBTQ-themed game box - QUEERZ! This campy action-drama-RPG is based on the stunning manga by Isago Fukuda and inspired by shows like Sailor Moon and Power Rangers. Players play individuals gifted with superpowers by the benevolent Rainbow Empathy, who fight intolerance, prejudice, and ignorance with rainbow blasts and a variety of moves based on their pursuits and passions, be it Teddy Woof's bear hugs or Absolutely Fabulous' runway moves and fan attacks.
The game runs on the City of Mist system, and like City of Mist has a psychological twist. Similarly to the Mist, Ignorance is a psycho-physical substance that be be smashed but can also affect the minds of heroes and constrict their actions. When the heroes finally break through a villain's Ignorance barriers, they can reach the villain's Inner Space, a psychic dimension where they see what caused the villain to become one and rescue them, making them an ally.
While QUEERZ! has a strong LGBTQ focus, it's all about acceptance and inclusion of others, similar or different to you. Anyone can play it, especially if you're a fan of Super Sentai anime. When I read the manga I just fell in love with the setting and I knew I had to make this into a game. Also, being gay myself, it felt like this was something I could do to help players explore different kinds of heroes than we usually see in media and maybe, through that, help them accept themselves and others. QUEERZ! will go live on Kickstarter on September 14th!
Now that Shadows & Showdowns and Nights of Payne Town are published and shipping, we are already planning a new City of Mist product launch for the end of this year or very early next year. While you stay tuned, here's a question to you:

Early submission to the Garage is open until July 3rd. Early submissions will feature on the Garage at launch, giving your creation greater exposure. You can submit partial or unstylized PDF files as a placeholder, and update your file later.
The form contains links to the community content agreement, guidelines, and the coveted City of Mist templates, style guide, and art pack!
NEW GAME BOX ANNOUNCEMENT
As early as week, we'll be announcing a new game box based on the City of Mist system which will be the subject of our next Kickstarter in September (once all of this Kickstarter's commitments are fulfilled). This isn't the long-awaited universal system YET (which is in early playtesting now), but a unique universe based on a manga comic book closely linked to the theme of this month...

Hello there necromantic children in jammies (see below),
After April's rush to print, we had to take a break for a while and recover. Meanwhile, the printers have been busy and Nights of Payne Town + Shadows & Showdowns has almost finished printing. Barring any port delays, it's due to arrive and start shipping in mid-July! (You DO NOT need to update your address yet; we will announce that on our next update).
